Arcane Technologies PLC was founded in 2021 in Addis Ababa with a clear understanding of Ethiopia's market potential — and the gaps that needed filling.
From the start, we focused on three areas: digital financial inclusion (connecting underserved populations with CBE Birr and mobile money services), reliable distribution (bringing quality consumer brands to market), and technology infrastructure (lighting, security, and enterprise software).
Today, we operate across Addis Ababa, Oromia, and Southern Ethiopia, serving as an authorized CBE Birr Super Agent, a certified Safaricom Ethiopia partner, and a trusted distributor for brands including Dachi, Lilac Ethiopia, and Elleni.
